Artist's Comments

Last weekend I escaped town again and traveled to Southern California to visit my good friend =Indigo76. We hiked to =Indigo76's local play ground for what would be a very strenuous three mile hike! :faint: We found ourselves weaving in and out, up and down many difficult rocks and inclines. This HDR image was taken at a dead end to our journey (about 2.5 miles or 4 kilometers in) and our only option was to turn around and find another path. Due to the snow melting if we would have pushed forward we would have ended up in three feet of water! :giggle: The only sound around for miles was the calming trickling of water and the sounds of shutters as we engaged in our shots with the tripod :D

Hidden Treasures by =SeptSky Suggester writes: "When I first saw this photo, I got so excited to comment and then I was at a loss for words. This is an incredible landscape that is very pleasing to the eye. The composition with the reflection is incredibly unique, and it draws you right towards the center. This photo was perfectly executed, and is an example of the right way to use HDR. Aimee's landscapes are certainly worth looking at." (Suggested by =Ryser915 and Featured by ^kkart)

My exact reaction when I saw this: "AIUSBzifbnuifdnIUFzbndifndnbfidbfndbkdbfjhkbkvjdbkjdblbgkhgldgnlfdngbiufgnddpo!" I got so excited to comment and then was at a lost of words. This, is my second if not first favorite photo in your gallery. All I can say is holy crap..it's one of those shots that makes your jaw absolutely hit the floor. The incredible composition, the absolutely glassiness of the water and the winding of the creek. You absolutely 100% NAILED IT. Sheesh..i'm dumbfounded!:clap::clap:
